Morning Industrial Hemp Training: $50 Registration; Demonstration Booths $75

Demonstration Booths may register at either link. One $75 fee reserves your table from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. but does not admit you to the Morning Training.

Afternoon Industrial Hemp Field Day: Free but registration required; Demonstration Booths $75

Next Monday, August 6, 2018,  NC State University will hold an intensive Industrial Hemp Training event including in-depth information on sample testing, hemp diseases, tissue testing, rough-out budgets, and the current state of regulation. This is a fee-for-service training which will occur just prior to our annual Industrial Hemp Field Day at the Piedmont Research Station. Participation in the training is limited to the first 60 registrants and registration is $50. Lunch and classroom materials are included in your cost. Training begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at noon with lunch.

The Industrial Hemp Field Day will follow in the afternoon beginning at 2:30 p.m. It is a free event; however, registration is still required to attend. Registration will open July 31 and participation is limited to the first 125 registrants. At the field day we will showcase seed and fiber variety trials, seed and fiber population trials, a CBD variety trial, a CBD nitrogen trial, and a row spacing demonstration. Basic Agronomic practices will be covered and NC State University specialists and NCDA professionals will be on hand to answer questions.

Demonstration booths may be set-up for a $75 fee. Demonstrators may set up starting at 8:00 a.m. Participants in the training event and the field day will have the opportunity to visit the booths between noon and 2:30 p.m. and again at the conclusion of the event. Supper for one attendee is included in the registration to host a Demonstration booth. No products may be sold at this event (free samples are OK).
